How it's built
Technology
Native iOS client
A SwiftUI application for iPhone, covering job search, applications, messaging and venue profiles.
Python API
A FastAPI backend on PostgreSQL, deployed as a container on Google Cloud Run, with Redis for caching and object storage for user media.
Matching and search
Vector embeddings rank openings against a worker's profile, alongside geospatial search over venue locations.
In-app assistant
A conversational assistant helps workers describe what they are looking for and surfaces matching roles from the listings.

About Meeba
Meeba is an early-stage company building hospitality staffing software. The product is an iOS application and its supporting web platform, serving two groups: hospitality businesses — bars, restaurants, cafés and similar venues — that need to fill roles, and the workers who take them.
The company is based in Israel and the product launched in Hebrew for the Israeli market, which is why the main site at meeba.co is in Hebrew. This page describes the same product in English.
Meeba is in its launch phase, onboarding its first venues and workers in Israel.
